Freshmen admission to Ross?

Can someone explain to me the details of being admitted to Ross as a high school senior, I believe that I read where you can be admitted as a freshmen but won't enroll until your sophmore year? Why can't I find any information on majors available? What is the BBA program? I would like to major in finance and am curious if I don't get admitted as a high school senior, should I take a chance at not being admitted for my sophmore year? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

You can't enroll till end of frosh yr cuz of pre-req's required to be completed in your 1st yr if u get accepted as a hs senior. Ross BBA by design has no majors only a concentration or focus on a particular area (e.g; marketing, finance etc......) . The BBA program is a 3 year program where a student receives a bachelor of business administration upon graduation. If you are not admitted as a hs senior don't worry about it. Only the best and brightest are accepted PA. Your chance of getting in improves when you apply after frosh year provided you do good in school that year. Hope this helps.

Isn't it a gamble if I don't get in PA? If I have my mind set on a business degree and don't get into Ross for my sophmore year either, then what? Switch schools?

It is a gamble, but if you know you can put in the effort to keep your grades up, be involved and on top of things, then i think Ross is worth the gamble because it's among the best.

You could transfer, but it would be a pain since most bschools are 4 yr programs so you'll already be behind. You'd probably have to do a year extra.

Most ppl who don't get into the bschool end up majoring in econ or actuary mathematics.

You can still get into many B-schools as a sophomore transfer, including some pretty reputable ones.
