We had LLCs in freshmen Honors housing. You’re probably forgetting because they really don’t mean anything. It’s just a way of getting you to be living with other people who have similar interests to you, as far as i can tell.

WiseGuy is older. He might not have had LLCs inside honors. I was 08-09 and didn’t.

Hey guys, this question might be very stupid and not be related to the topic in here, but I would like to know what’s an LLC.
I will start my gfreshman year at NU this fall and I just got my room apparently Speare Hall… by the way I am an international student also.

some people didn’t even get ROOMS yet :o like me and after talking with housing they said they were doing it in order of deposit date so I could get mine in theory the day before move-in day! this sucks, have you alumni ever heard about anything like this?

and for the guy in musical motifs no worries I know a few of the kids in there and they’re awesome people, basically you’ll just be blasting music all day haha

Housing is always assigned by deposit date. That’s why everyone (at nearly every college) tries to get their housing deposits in so early.

@neuchimie - WiseGuy is in my year and was in my hall freshman year, so I know he had LLCs. I’ll have to give him a hard time for forgetting when I get back to campus. :)

I got a quad in Light Hall. Anyone know anything about it? I was at orientation this past weekend and talked to housing about the room. They said they couldn’t provide details but the two people working for housing who I talked to gave my completely different descriptions of the room. I also talked to some upperclassmen and orientation leaders and some of them hadn’t ever heard of Light Hall, and the ones who had knew nothing about it.

So I’m looking to see if you guys have any info on it (particularly you students, @neuchimie @nanotechnology @WiseGuy57)

Never lived there, never knew anyone who lived there. I was a west village kid through and through. But some people like the small dorm environment. You’ll learn to live with it, no matter how it turns out.

Just as a point of interest…Speare Hall is being remodeled this summer, which includes new lounges, restrooms and furniture.
