<p>I'm an international student going to NEU this fall. And since my assigned move-in day is 2 days before orientation therefore I would not be able to see what the dorms look like. If anyone have any pictures of NEU dorms besides international village or the honors ones (since i know what they look like), could you please send me a link of the dorm pictures? That would be great. But if you can't, could you tell me how much room we have and what kind of storage system I can buy.</p>

<p>NEU doesn’t provide any housing pictures on its website. But there is another thread that has all the details related to the residence halls so I think you might want to have a look at that.

<p>Nothing concrete. My Freshman year (2010-2011), it had a pretty bad reputation among everyone I know (including someone who disliked it so much they changed rooms second semester), but I’ve heard former residents on this site give it a good word. As most of the complaints I’ve heard have to do with other residents, (as opposed to the actual quality of the dorm rooms), it probably isn’t something you need to worry about, as with Freshman dorms, the entire population changes every year, and none of the new residents get to pick their dorms anyway, so which Freshman dorms have certain reputations in any given year is pretty random.</p>
<p>I got in Kerr Hall, my LLC is Music Motif and I didn’t even register for it… I registered for Global Frontiers and ended up getting Music Motif… ._. I don’t know anything Kerr Hall but I know it’s pretty far away from the school…
I don’t know anything about White Hall either but when I researched it on **************, it says that White Hall is the worst freshman house… they didn’t state the reasons but I think it depends on the reviewers as well…</p>
<p>aw that sucks that you got into a LLC you didn’t sign up for. I signed up for global frontiers. I did further research and saw pictures, so white hall isn’t that bad it’s actually as I heard the rooms are the biggest in terms of freshmen dorms. Vongo - it’s weird to me how you got placed into kerr hall considering your an international student and most international students as I’ve talked to are either placed into some kind of a global LLC or fushion</p>
<p>Yeahhhh, that’s why I’m soooooo disappointed right now. I don’t think that I can change my LLC anyways… but I’m still emailing them to double check. And it really sucks to know that Music Motif isn’t even on the 3 choices that I registered for LLC and now I ended up with a brand new and unfamiliar LLC… I chose Global Frontiers as my first choice and I didn’t get a spot… But anyways, it’s so lucky for you to get the right LLC you registered for. hehe :D</p>
<p>As a Honors student, I lived in Honors housing my freshman year, so I wasn’t really in an LLC, but my understanding is that they’re basically meaningless. You’ll live near people in your LLC… and that’s about it.</p>
