So, what's everyone (current students) doing Friday night? Or, what do you usually do Friday nights?

I think because of the overwhelming stress of papers/midterms/etc suddenly weighing down, I don't have the energy to think about what to do or make plans, and suddenly the social side of everything seems terribly bleak. So I guess I'm just curious what people's plans are, perhaps for inspiration

i dunno, i flew into burbank and went wit my family, it's been pretty sick, my aunt, mom, and cuzins (its my cuz's birthday) got trashed at a bar last night, it was tight. hopefully another good times set up for tonight

I am also wondering about the social scene at Berkeley. People seem to be so studious and competitive at Berkeley. I guess its different at different schools. Berkeley's idea of fun might be different from another college's.

Yeah, no, I think Berkeley students' sense of fun is pretty similar to most kids. It's not really like UChicago or whatever.

anyway, I ended up having a pretty fun Friday night (ordering pizza, baking brownies, playing scrabble/ddr/guitar hero, watching arrested development, drinking, a bit of weed haha, with a great group of friends) and tonight i'm going to pan's labyrinth. we were going to the midnight showing of monty python and the holy grail but people don't see to be up for it.

I think Berkeley students are pretty diverse in terms of what they consider "fun." Thousands may think parties are the funnest things in the universe, while thousands of others think parties are hell. Many probably think "fun" is reading the latest Stephen King and others may think the same about playing WoW all day long.
