I’ve been accepted to UC Davis and am waiting on Berkeley.

I go to a high school where a majority of the faculty are UC Davis alumni and I’ve been asking a lot about the school. Every single one of them have commented on how friendly Davis students and residents are. Although it is still a very selective and high-ranked public school, it does not have the extremely competitive (and sometimes not-so-friendly) atmosphere that Berkeley is known to have. So, I would definitely put Davis on your list.

Well of course you can’t measure it. But I’m saying from your guys’ experience, which college has the nicest student body. Maybe you’ve gone there or a friend goes there.

I go to Davis, and I agree with hHallmark. It’s been a really amazing place for me. I obviously can’t speak for everyone, but it’s been positive in almost every aspect; thus, I sing its praises!

Santa Clara University – not only students, but faculty and staff as well, were the friendliest people my son and I encountered among all of the colleges we visited.
