From Community College To Naval Academy

Hello. I am a current High school student with a long passion towards the Naval Academy. I prepared myself by being involved in 4 varsity sports, Marching band, Many volunteer service hours, Student council, 4 Advance Placement classes and an ACT of 23. I applied and was denied acceptance into the summer seminar. I would take a good guess and say it was because of my 2.8 GPA and my 23 ACT score.

Well, My dreams of becoming a graduate of the Naval Academy and becoming a Navy SEAL still remain. I have a couple months left of High School and I have to make a very important decision soon, and that is "What are my plans after High School?" Well I planned to attend DePaul University and major in Entrepreneurship and Computer Science but the money is a major factor now because I did not receive any money from FAFSA. So I have 2 questions.

First, If I attend a community college in an attempt to raise my GPA, would that be a good decision to make for when I re-apply, that is if I can even re-apply?

Second, What are all my possible paths which would lead me to an acceptance into the Academy?

Thank You
-Anthony C.
