we had two high schools in my town, and the parallels between them and UCLA/SC are just creepy. so i was pretty used to it.
but the first UCLA vs SC football game you go to will be pretty darn mind-blowing. (especially if you get to stand ON THE SIDELINES at the end of a game where your school upsets the rival for the first time in 7 years... :rolleyes: ) :D :D :D :D :D</p>

<p>ROFL yah i was. and ucla is pretty preppy. so was my high school. paled in comparison to my rival high school, however.
my rival was red and black. we were green and gold. we were the underdogs, and the ones with less (although still plenty of) money. we had a similar environment to here, and our rival was... well, very very rich, very snobby, and always hung out in OUR part of town because we had the nicer, traditional downtown and they didn't. also we could wander off campus for food. their campus was more isolated...

<p>haha my high school is somewhat reminiscent of the ucla/usc rivalry. our school mascot is the bruins, and our cross-town rivals kick the **** out of us in football and we always beat them in basketball.</p>

<p>It may have been a frat initation thing. I saw a couple of smaller asain guys walking out of De Neve with $C stuff on. Two really big guys (I presume football players, big like linemen) walked buy and went "MAN, F!@# $C" And then one of the little guys muttered in this little scared voice "its for our frat. . ."</p>
