From PSAT to SAT

I got a 196 (blah) on the PSAT last (sophomore) year without studying. If I prepared a bit for this SAT, what could I possibly get on it?? I'm hoping for a 2000+, but I know that's probably not going to happen. And by preparing a little bit, I mean three hours with an SAT practice book. Thanks!

The more you study and practice, the better you will do. How much someone needs to study varies from person to person.

You definitely can score really highly! You got a way better sophomore PSAT than I did.

My sophomore year, I scored a 169 on the PSAT.
My junior year, I scored a 200 on the PSAT.
^Both without preparing.

On my junior SAT, I scored a 2290 with preparation. (preparation = ~7 hours of studying for ~10 days during holiday break :D)

I plan on taking it twice more!

Hello Rahul, you got a good score. Can you share how you prepared for SAT - particularly Reading and Writing?
