I have just finished my private SAT prep couse. I got around 2200 on the first diagnostic test, 2100 on the second one, and 2060 on the last one. btw i took the first one at home. I am so frustrated, why my scores got worse. I am getting worry. I plan to take the SAT in June. What should I do? any avices? Which prep book should I use? Any suggestion on the strategy?

Don't sweat the practice test scores. I got 1600s and 1700s on practice tests before I took the real test for the first time, and I never took studying seriously. I managed a 2200 on the real test, nonetheless. The main benefit the practice tests provide, I think, is to allow you to get a feel for how the questions are asked and all that. Continue what you are doing and don't stress yourself out. A few of those practice exams can ruin your weekend. Trust me, on test day, you will do a lot better if you keep cool and take things as they come.

Oh, I forgot to mention one thing, if you do want to get a new book, get the College Board SAT book. It did wonders for me!

Thanks for your advice. I took a real SAT in Jan got 1960 and PSAT was 1950. I got all kinds of prep books-College Board SAT book, grammatix, rocketreview, maximum SAT. I haven't really studied the grammatix one yet. Therefore, I am afraid maybe my SAT score range will be always below 2100. I want to apply Ivy Colleges so I have to get a good SAT score. I am a A student, taking 5 AP couses, maybe just not a test taker.
