What is so special about FSSP? Besides getting used to the campus, if you take CC courses wouldnt that be cheaper and easier than doing FSSP? Also, how would i know which courses at CC will have transferrable credits to UCSB? Is it all the courses that show on assist.org that are shown as "transferrable" ?

Bumpp it up!

Doing FSSP was the best decision I could have made. Most of the friends I have today are all directly a result of fssp! Basically, summer classes are a lot easier than the regular school year but normal enough were you will get a feel for the difficulty of the university. Everyone I know loved fssp & once we got to fall quarter we felt like we knew **** and werent just another one of those oblivious freshman, making all of those mistakes! Fssp was really fun we all partied together all the time and ran wild and free, always finding ways to get into trouble.

basically the benefit to doing fssp over sbcc is the countless friends you will make & fun you will have experiencing dorm life instead of being on your own in isla vista. Also the commute would suck & I dont even think they offer that many summer classes at sbcc do to budget cuts by the state…

Basically I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FSSP! It is an experience well worth it and something many people later on wish they had done! You’ll have fun guarenteed! Summer at UCSB is amazing!
