I was wondering not if applying to the FSSP program is worth it. And for anyone that has joined it, could you give me a quick rundown of what the program is like.

I signed up for it and it starts in a couple weeks. I have no idea what to expect and I kind of like it that way.

Seems a bit pricey to me, but I'm sure you'll be way ahead of me by the time I get there in the Fall :)

hopefully its good

has anyone started packing/oragainzing their things? i've realized i have alot of things to take with me.

not at all. do you know when we move in?

My son did the FSSP last summer and absolutely loved it. It made it so that by the time the Fall quarter started he and the other FSSP'ers already knew the ropes and were able to dive right into all of the campus activities. The classes are the same courses taught by the same profs as during the regular year, with lots of extra activities thrown in for the relatively small group of freshman who are there. I've never heard anything but raves about FSSP. Congratulations and have fun!

barneyroxxx............move in is august 2 but they should have sent you an assigned time.

are you supposed to get an envelope or something, because I have not gotten anything.

ya by now u should've gotten a letter (saying your move in time and roomate/room #) since it starts next week.........u should call them and ask whats up

Is the FSSP on a first come, first serve basis? How quick does it fill up?

i'm really thinking of attending...

My parents are making me do it, but I think at this point I should really be allowed to make my own decisions....

Whatever though, they're paying the tuition so I guess I don't really have a choice....

if we are going to this fssp thing, and we;re applying for fin aid, they tell us to apply for 06-07 year fafsa. do we fill it out like we're entering college?

ok I sent in my app, and am filling out the other fafsa now. To the above poster, I just put college for that option; UCSB should know what you're talking about even though the dates are off.

Does anyone know what are the best classes to take first during the summer? I'm guessing the easier ones, and if so, which are they?
