<p>Hi, I plan on applying for FSU Honors through the Lateral Admissions App. does anyone know what my chances will be? 50/50? toss-up? longshot?</p>

<p>Without your stats, I don’t think anyone can tell you your chances.</p>
<p>I thought if you completed the first year with a 3.8, you were automatically admitted. I may be wrong though.</p>
<p>@Dnerd sorry about that I meant to put up my FSU stats. Right now I have a 4.0 and if I keep it through the Fall, that’ll be a 4.0 on 19 credit hours</p>

<p>It’s likely just your FSU stats. The point of lateral admission is to prove your abilities your first semester at college at a time when many, many students (including some honors) struggle to get their act together. I’m guessing the addition of the app is simply is to weed out the students who could care less about honors and who normally accept just for the hell of it.</p>
