I applied late and was given priority number around 6,100. The housing office says there is a good change of me still getting on campus but I don't know whether to believe them or not. Can anyone give me an idea of my chances on getting in ANY dorm on campus????

ouch, 6100, not to criticize but they did say to apply as early as possible. Looking at your chances you seem to be on a short stick and I would recomend asking for you're deposit back and go look for off campus housing. From what I recall fsu has around 6097 dorm spaces and plus they issue priority numbers even for those who don't end up sending the deposit so although your priority number may be 6100 you real priority number might be in the 5000. but you didn't help your chances because you didn't apply to a live and learn community or weren't in honors both of which would've guranteed a spot....my advice go off campus.

Could still happen...try and hedge your position if you can (see if you can have it both ways until you know for sure).
