So I know it's been asked time and time again on here, but as far as housing priority numbers go, what is a really horrible number? I just found out I got in tonight, and applied for housing, and ended up with a number in the 6000+. But, I couldn't apply for housing until AFTER I've been accepted. So, my question is - do you think I'll get on campus housing with my number? I know that I wont get any of my top four choices, but I could care less. I just have to make sure I love ON campus, even if it's a crappy dorm.

Surely they realize that people have to wait to apply for housing after March decision date, so I should be placed on campus, right? I sure hope so.

Like, when do they start giving out numbers that pretty much tell you to look off campus? 7000+, 8000+, etc? Did any of you guys have a number in the 6000 and get on campus housing?

ALSO:
What are my chances for getting into a learning-living community this late in the game? I'm looking at Bryan Hall. Does it matter that I'm applying a little late? The deadline is in April.

Numbers in the 6000s are high, but I read somewhere that they housed people last year with numbers in the 9000s.

Many people who were accepted in December and got lower numbers will not be attending Florida State, so your seemingly high number isn’t that bad, especially if you aren’t picky about which hall you’re in.

I don’t think it matters much when you apply to an LLC, as long as it’s before the deadline.

If I recall, last year priority numbers got over 9000 and they never told anyone to start looking off campus. It probably had to do with the application changing to where the only guaranteed way of getting out of the housing contract was not attending FSU.

But yes, with a priority number below 7000 you are pretty much guaranteed on-campus housing.

For LLCs, application date does not matter. :)

Last year, a friend of my daughters was accepted in the March decision date. She had a priority number similar to you. She applied to an LLC and was accepted. So, nn LLC is definitely an option.

Yes, being accepted to an LLC does not have anything to do with your priority # and is your best bet to get on campus or even suite-style housing. Most have separate applications with short essays- [The Florida State University - University Housing](http://housing.fsu.edu/livlearn.html).

Thanks you guys! I applied for the Bryan LLC and I’m also going to apply for the Social Justice one. I was just worried because on campus housing is important to me. But, I’m glad that 6000 isn’t THAT horrible.
