Hi. Which of those (FSU,UF,UCF,USF) colleges would take these three majors; electrical, mechanical, computer engineering as a triple major and which ones you recommend the most?
Just curiosity, what about MIT?

triple major lol

If you can get in, goto UF.

MIT is obviously better than all of them.

None of them.

Triple major would be hard to do.

If you are considering FSU for engineering, you should consider FAMU, since it is the same school for engineering at a usually lower price and easier to get merit scholarships.

FAMU is currently on probation status by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (the accreditation board for the school). You may want to be careful with that one. A band member was recently beaten to death in a hazing incident, and the school may lose its accreditation if they fail a followup inspection in the near future. You don’t want an unaccredited degree.

Really no point to a triple major, and most colleges wouldn’t let you do it. It would be far better to spend that extra effort on a masters degree. All four of those schools offer the degrees.

thanks. I will take your opinions into account.

out of all of them UF is the best… fsu is ok. UCF is a newer school. Their ee department was litteraly established in 1999. I would recommend go to a CC which im doing and transfer out of state like GTECH , Illinois, Duke, U.TExas. These are more established schools that will help you in the long run. But if u have to choose out of those three UF is the best. UCF is known as a party school and if ur career goals are high I wouldnt consider that school at all. Hope this helped

Also to expand on the cc idea. If you do choose and out of state school you will of course be paying for out of state but only 2 years after a good cheaper tuition of cc. I would recommend Valencia or Seminole state if you do choose that road which can be very beneficial to you.
Plus you can easily get a good scholarship money for cc and make it a " full ride "

^^^nothing wrong with going to CC for two years and then move up to a 4 year university for your engineering degree. A lot of folks do it, and it’s very cost effective.

However, if you’re in state, and you’re looking to reduce cost (perhaps for grad school), it’s hard to pass on UF vs. those 4 OOS schools. The difference isn’t enough to justify the cost. UF Tuition would be $6,200, while UT’s is $33,000 (OOS), Illinois $26,600… Only look at those schools if you have reason’s other than cost/simple prestige. For example, if you looking to be a Pet Eng and want to break into the Petroleum industry in Texas,…

true uf is a great school. Im just saying u could cut the oos tuition in half by attending a cc

Like schools like V.tech and Maryland have good connections to DC
