<p>Of course, I think that U.S. News information merits inclusion, but there are also very informed specialized rankings within disciplines that are not included at all or are only selectively included. I hope that this will be circulated to Deans and Chairs so that they can correct some of the missing information and add their own information to the mix -- the chart does not put forward some of the best ranking information I am aware of for specialized disciplines, and graduate students frequently rely on these speciliazed ranking of grants, publications, etc. in making their decisions. Alot of this information is available on department web pages.</p>
