fsu welcome packet?

we get one, right?

Jossie - Last year my daughter got an official “letter” saying Congrats on your acceptance and I think there was one or two other pieces of general information in the packet. Not truly a packet. I think most colleges are moving away from hard copies of paperwork which is why most acceptances are done completely online now. But, the official letter was pretty cool and made my daughter’s day - she wanted it framed. ;)

i would do the same thing, janna - when did she get it? what college did you go to?

Jossie - I’m not sure when she got it. It wasn’t too long after her online acceptance but certainly not the same week she was “officially” accepted either (she had her email acceptance from admissions in September of last year). You’ll probably have one in a couple of weeks. I didn’t attend college - my daughter is a first generation college student. :)

congratulations on your daughter, then :)

When my year got accepted, the packet arrived right around Christmas. It was around a week from when everything was listed online. I still actually have most of that stuff around here somewhere, I believe.

However, I would not be surprised to hear that the packet that was sent out my year has been significantly cut down. A lot of the stuff included was not necessary at the time, and the packet did weigh a good amount. Although the folder it came in was pretty nice.

I didn’t get anything, aside from an email stating something to the effect of “a decision has been rendered.”

I don’t mind. You can get anything you need from their website.
