I will be attending UCSB in the fall, but I was thinking of dorming in either FT or San Nicolas for my freshman year. I understand the convenience of San Nicolas and the social benefits of FT, but I’m super indecisive haha If anyone could list some pros and cons of each residence hall, that would be super helpful! Thanks!
It is a lot nicer and more convenient to live on campus. FT is a trek away. I think the food is supposed to be better on campus than at FT as well.

Definitely on campus. The buses are always packed with students from FT and it’s not fun waiting for the bus in pouring rain with 100 other people trying to board the same two buses.
