Fulfilling Haas transfer requirements

Hello,

As a transfer to Berkeley Haas, I see that I need to complete an intro to business course that’s at least 5 quarter units long. However, my school, uMich, only offers a 1 credit course equivalent. I was wondering whether it would be possible to fulfill this requirement by taking the class at a local community college and whether pass/failing it would hurt my chances.

Thanks

The internet is not your friend here. Pick up the phone and call the transfer advisor at Haas.

Your previous posts indicate that you will just begin attending UMich this Fall. As @Blossom advised, you need to call Haas.

If Berkeley’s requirements state a 5 quarter course, they mean a 5 quarter course. That’s a year and a half of a fast-paced university-level course.

Berkeley Haas is extremely tough to gain admission. It’s even worse for non-resident applicants who want to transfer in. Priority admission goes to California Community College students.

Remember that funding for transfers, as a non-resident, is limited.

Thank you both very much. I’ll go ahead and contact Berkeley.
