Full Ride at Georgetown (Mcdonough School o Business) or Sticker price at NYU Stern?

Which should explain your focus on an IB career and Wall Street.

If you don’t pick Georgetown’s offer here it shows that you shouldn’t be planning a career in business after attending NYU.

It seems that the case is closed.

I’ll close it tighter–there’s no way OP will be able to borrow enough to pay for NYU.

Interesting … and NYU is a huge school compared to Georgetown so per capita the gap would be even larger. That said, the feeder school data should be taken with a grain of salt … they reflect the strength of the student population at the individual schools more than the affect the school had on student’s eventual grad school. The same strong student attending either Georgetown or NYU would likely have very similar grad school admission results.

Do not, I repeat, do not go to NYU Stern. Sure it’s a fine school for investment banking… but so is Georgetown. I would say that GTown is as much a feeder school for finance as Stern is. Furthermore, the social life at Georgetown will be much more akin to a true college environment whereas Stern will not be. Add to that a FULL RIDE… and the case is completely, 100% closed. Go Hoyas!

All things being equal G-Town gives Stern a run for its money, and factoring in the fact that you have a full ride I would take Georgetown any day!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen such an open and shut case as this: Georgetown once, twice, and every day of the week.

So Georgetown it is!! I visited the campus and it is AWESOME…Thank you everyone for your opinions. I seriously I owe you guys for taking your time to advise me.
