Transfer from NYU Stern to Georgetown McDonough? Thoughts?

Hey everyone,
I just finished my freshman year at NYU Stern, and I am considering a transfer to Georgetown MBS. I received no aid from NYU and had to pay full price for this year. For every following year, I will receive no aid according to NYU. Considering that my older brother also attends Stern, this amounts to quite a lot of tuition $$$. To pay for this year I increased my dad's ecommerce business by $120,000 gross in about 6 months and obtained a 3.85 GPA. This got me into Georgetown as a transfer and a PE internship during the year.

I'm considering a transfer not only for the tuition cost but also because I generally feel I would have a better experience in Georgetown as well as better opportunities afterwards. Considering that 80-90% of Stern's class are finance majors, literally everyone is gunning for the same IBD job. Stern's location in the city is great for internships and networking opportunities, but these opportunities also put you at a disadvantage because frankly you are required to do a lot more with your time than at another school. This year about 30 juniors out of 600+ got into BB internships. I assume the competition at Georgetown will be similar or even more so but in terms of relative opportunities, I think Georgetown might be better. What do you guys think? Am I overlooking the importance of school-year internships, networking, and other NYC advantages Stern provides? Does it matter that Stern has a more prestigious finance program? Am I overestimating Georgetown's placement?

Overall, my end goal is to get into IB in NYC and hopefully for a BB. I would really appreciate any advice on what may be the best option in terms of school. Would I be limiting myself with one choice?

Thanks for the help!

Can you provide more detail on the PE internship? Also, is G-town providing any aid?
