Full Ride Scholarships?

I don't believe I can apply for the Chancellor's Scholarship because I don't fall under a underrepresented minority group (I'm of Chinese descent). What other full ride scholarships are there?

I see you have a 34 ACT and 2300 SAT. I do not know of any other full-ride scholarships at UW-Madison.

You can apply NOW(and decide to attend later) for the College of Letters & Science Scholarships.

The deadline is in about two weeks, so you should begin the application ASAP (due February 4th). You will need a teacher recommendation that your teacher must submit online through the application system link.

The best scholarship is something like $7,000/year x 4 years. Most are single year scholarships of $500-$2000.

Your application must give evidence of two or more of the following selection criteria:

Academic Merit
Creative Accomplishment
Financial Need
Force of Character
Diversity of Background
Commitment to Community
Leadership

There are about 60 scholarships total for incoming freshman in L&S, only 10 of these scholarships are for non-Wisconsin residents. Over 1,000 incoming freshmen will apply.

The application takes quite a bit of time to carefully craft.

Good Luck!

I also see you have a pre-med intention. Here’s another link you might find useful (not related to scholarships):
