Hi, i m from india and applying this year.
is it possible by any means that universities like UPenn,Cornell and Columbia give a full ride to an international?
I mean , like cornell is notorious for its indifference to international student aid, and by applying for FA chances of admission also dip, but can they admit an international and give him full ride.

Any institution can give full rides to whomever it pleases. Whether or not you could get one is a whole different issue.

Look up the international admission statistics for each of the institutions that you are interested in. Are your statistics as good as that? Then you probably could get in. Are your statistics significantly better than that? Then you are more likely to get in, and more likely to be approved for financial aid.

If you need financial aid to attend a college or university in the US, that means that every single institution here is in a “reach” category for you. Don’t forget to apply to a place in your home country (or another country) that you can actually afford.
