Full time vs part time last year at community college. regarding admission and scholarships

Im going into my third year at community college (i was stupid and didnt plan) and have already completed all my GE’s and most of my major classes for mechanical engineering. I only have 5 major classes left. Im taking 3 of them now in the fall and that only adds to 11 units. Should i add another class so that im full time? I would probably add a class called “Career and Life Planning” that is 3 units. It actually sounds interesting. Does being full time for all your semesters at community college affect your admission or scholarships or anything like that after you transfer? I was full time for my first two years at community college. Also, in the spring i only have 9 units planned, which is just the last 2 of my major classes. Should i add on another class to be full time then too?It would be intro environmental studies, which might be helpful if i apply as environmental engineering to some schools
I know for TAG they recommend being full time your last year, have any of you been admitted even though you were not full time during your last year. Advice please

Actually, I believe for TAG it’s a requirement to be full time during your last year, not a recommendation.

Can you get yourself over to Santa Ana College for Engineering 100A? Might be more useful than the Career class and it’s only 2 units and Assist says it’s UC transferable.
