Fundraising Ideas.

I applied to this five week academic summer program in Andover, Mass and the tuition is $5,800 and they recommend about $700 in books, laundry, spending money, etc. I applied for financial aid, so hopefully I'll get some. My principal also told me that there are scholarships available through my school, but I'm guessing it's not a lot because a lady died and left some money to Dundee and that's how they're using it. I also have about $1,000 saved up, and that's my life savings. That's kind of my last resort. lol. My mom refused to pay a cent, even though she can afford to pay some.

So, the reason I am posting this is to get some fundraising ideas. I'm guessing I'll need somewhere around $2,000 or so. Any suggestions?

That will be difficult if the fundraiser is personal...have you resorted to your grandparents or other relatives as an option?

Nope. I might consider this after finding out if I got accepted and how much financial aid I received, but it might be until mid to late March.

bump .
