Fundraising Ideas

I am with the redcross club at my school and i was wondering if all you guys from different schools had seen fundraisers that you really liked or thought were really successful.

I don’t know what type of fundraisers you’re looking for, but I’ll offer up a suggestion.

My student council (we are an active club, not the type that does nothing) holds a dodge-ball tournament yearly at our school. We set up about a month ahead and offer the applications. Basically the student body forms their own teams. I forgot how many people are on the team, but I know the only requirement was to have one girl on it. With each team application, you had to submit a fee to participate. I believe it was like $5.00 per person, but the teams had around 6/7/8 members (again, not sure). We also had everyone get a parent signature on a health form.

We usually have a lot of teams and the winners get something small, but mainly bragging rights (it’s high school). It’s one of our most successful activities besides dances (Homecoming, Winter Coronation).
