So I'm starting a club called HOSA at my high school, I am the president and founder of the chapter at my school. Its a national charter similar to DECA, FBLA, Key Club, NHS, etc. But unfortunately since this is our first year we 0 dollars in funding. Aside from membership fees I was wondering if anyone else had any ideas for fundraising projects that brings a lot of money. lol please and thank you

At my school, all of the clubs take turn having car washes. Also, they take turns holding dances. For the dances, all of the money generated from ticket sales and beverage and food sales goes to the host club. By taking turns, all the clubs get a chance to raise money. Food and bake sales usually work too:) Best of luck with your new club!:)

The volleyball teams sells nachos/snow cones/candy/gatorade/water/etc. at our games. It works pretty well. We start by having each member donate an item (water, cheese, chips, etc.) and then we use the profits to by more items, and so forth. It works pretty well.

Most of the clubs and sports teams at my school have either car washes or bake sales throughout the year, and I think they go pretty well. Also, I don’t know how well this works, but I have heard of clubs doing fundraisers by sellings coupon cards or books for local businesses.

okay cool, all of these sound like great ideas. Unfortunately dances are always taken by student council, and our lady volleyball team sells stuff at our football games which is the only sport that actually has enough attendance to make a good profit. But bake sales and car washes sound great. Anything else? haha I want to hear it all lol

You can try selling stuff during lunch. Ice cream and nachos are also sold during lunch every once in a while.

You can try working with Jamba Juice and they give about 20% of the profits to the school if you allow them to sell during lunches… I think other places would probably do the same.

ok awesome! thanks so much for the ideas. I’m excited to try em out
