Hi. Does anyone know anything about the fusion LLC? I am wondering which dorm it's in, and whether it or undeclared or computer science (which I think is going to be the major I declare but it's too early to tell) is the better fit. I am nervous that I'm not geeky enough for the CS LLC, and fusion sounds more fun than undeclared. Feedback and advice welcome! Thanks!

If you go NEU’s website, fusion to sum it up is basically a normal college traditional dorm. You have people from all around the world with different interest. Other LLCs are a bit different in which some are geared towards science students or engineer or business. So if you think about it, the people around your dorm are the people you are most likely going to make friends with. In fushion it is just people with different interest, different personality living in the same hall. I’m also a rising freshmen going to NEU and i chose fushion as my first choice solely because i want to emerge myself in meeting a variety of people rather than limit myself with just one type of people.
Bottom line, fushion LLC is for everyone.

Sorry to necro such an old thread, but what dorm was this in? Is it the same every year? I’m most likely going to be at Northeastern this fall and the Fusion LLC sounds great (Leadership is my 2nd choice, then INUvate), but I am really curious as to which dorm it is in.

How were your experiences in the Fusion LLC? Any general advice to an incoming freshman?

They switch the dorms for the LLCs every year, so you can’t count on it being in the same place.

@kiddie thanks for the info! I had thought about that but figured it worth asking, just in case. I really want a suite dorm, but I guess there’s no way for me to pick a suite, and chances of it happening are low. Thanks for the info.

Very few freshman dorms are suites - but lots of sophomore ones are
