Fusion Physics options,PhD

Hi!

So I am an aerospace engg. major right now and am considering fusion physics (power or propulsion) for my graduate studies. However one thing I am not sure of is what the career prospects are like? What are the jobs you can take apart from academia? How much does this concentration really resize your job market? Anyone in the field would be a great help. I am interested and wouldn't mind either power or propulsion. I know propulsion is on the down road due to lack of funding. Also what are the good programs in the country for it, i know about princeton only.
Major reason I am looking at the job market is because I will have a ton of loans by the time i finish my undergrad.
