Do colleges pay much attention to the "academic interests" and "possible career or professional plans" sections? I was considering putting "undecided" for both; will this make me seem uninterested in the school?
Also, some schools require an essay about academic interests, while some don't. So for the ones that do, I'll eventually decide on an area to write about when I have to submit the supplements. But if I've already said I'm "undecided" on the application, will this weaken my essays?
Thanks for any views!

Undecided is fine, especially if you want to do something that is common.

Thanks for the response

S did the same and has the same question.

i'd like to know. if we choose undecided and in our essay we wrote we were interested in both bus. and technology (like space science) would it weaken our chances or something?
or
what category would space science fall into?
