FYI! Prospective NYU/Stern students!

A letter I received recently as a Stern Alum! FYI!

Dear NYU Stern Alumnus/a:

U.S. News & World Report recently released the results of its rankings
of undergraduate business programs as part of its annual rating of
America’s best colleges. NYU Stern’s Undergraduate College maintained
its #5 position for the third year in the row, sharing this spot with
three other schools. Additionally, Stern maintained its #2 ranking in
the Finance and International Business specialty academic areas.

New York University placed #37 in the larger ranking of U.S.
universities.

U.S. News surveyed deans and senior faculty at AACSB-accredited
undergraduate business programs to compile its ranking of these programs
and their specialty areas. The results are based solely on this survey.
The complete rankings are now available online at http://usnews.com, but

We remain dedicated to providing our students with an exceptional
educational experience and our alumni with a network that will serve
them for a lifetime.

Regards,

Dean of the Undergraduate College

is this supposed to be a good thing?
Anyone who obsesses over rankings and anyone who puts texas et al on par with stern is a clown.

NYUSTERNMAN- What ? Obsessing over rankings? Take it or leave it- I thought I was being helpful in passing this info along to fellow CC members......

I was just messing around. Sorry if it came off the wrong way...

sternman, i've been reading a lot of your posts on the board. Saying that every other business school sucks and that Stern is god's gift to earth is not the best way to get prospective students excited about Stern. Try some humility.
