<p>Hey sorry for the odd title. I am a Senior and college apps have been stressing me out. I know my GPA is pretty low, but please give constructive criticism or advice on my college choices.</p>

Math: Good because I was a Junior is a mainly-Senior based Calculus BC class and did decently in the class
English: Good because I always participated in class and did well
Choir: Good because I had him for three years and I was one of the best singers in my choir(not to be cocky he told me himself)</p>

<p>Oh don’t say you have a low GPA. This is excellent in my eyes.</p>

<p>I think you do have a shot at most of them, some may be a good shot (low reach/high match?) and some maybe be, well, just a shot (reach). I’m no pro, so don’t take my advice too seriously, it’s just what I think based on what you have. As a native New Yorker who’s heard about NYU though, I think that might be a high reach for you… that’s a pretty hard school to get into, I think, even with your stats. But if you want, go for it!</p>

<p>idk about the liberal arts colleges but in terms of the universities.
You have a very low weighted GPA in terms of Berkeley and JHU but your ACT makes up for a decent amount of that and so do your EC’s so emphasize that.
I’d say they are still reaches. NYU I think thats a Reach as well. Maryland is a definite in however.</p>

<p>I’d say you have a good chance at u if Maryland. You’re in the loop for swarthmore but I can’t tell you exactly. I have heard that Ucb is super hard to get into. So I’d say that one is a low reach. Really depends on what you wanna study.</p>

<p>I think you have a decent chance at most of them but Hopkins, Gtown, haverford may be a slight reach</p>

<p>Your GPA is actually pretty good, believe me, and you do a decent chance (I would say around 80-90%), but yes i agree georgetown is a reach.
