no they are juniors atm with crazy stats and ecs.(intel and all)

yeah, I asked about “rising juniors” (current sophs)

@ChickenOnRice: but out of curiosity, when you say Intel, I assume you mean they’ve been to Intel ISEF (as sophomores or freshmen, for it to matter in Garcia admissions) ?

anyway, to my original question: anyone know any RISING juniors / current sophs that were accepted ?

Hi!! I’m currently a junior…going to be a senior next year. I got into this program, but I don’t know a lot about it… does anyone know how exactly we’re gonna be getting projects and when exactly we’re gonna start working on them?

I live in Southern California btw

Hello everyone, I was one of the people accepted into the Garcia program.

I am letting everyone know that this program IS accepting sophomores/rising juniors, because I am a sophomore this year, and will be going into my 11th grade next year.

@Exactor24, I don’t know how exactly they’re going to give us projects, but I estimate we might start working on the projects possibly within a week.

Also, @baconpork I can’t find the facebook page.

Just wondering, in the application, it says we must have a recommendation from a science coordinator? Does this mean a science supervisor, as opposed to a teacher? Thanks for any help!
