<p>The program is worth it if you’re willing to actually work your butt off for 8+ weeks and make the most of the program. Its a great experience for meeting new friends and learning real lab skills.</p>

<p>Probably. I know at least one person who got accepted but isn’t going, and I don’t know if Garcia will try and fill those spots or not.</p>

<p>^ that’s not correct – at least 5 of the 50 were sophomores. from the list of siemens semi-finalists who did the program, j coroar, h flores, k sangani, e schneider, and t wang were all sophs. there were likely more, since those are only the ones who were siemens semifinalists</p>
