<p>I couldn’t agree with you more eecardell! I am so very proud of my daughter! She has worked her butt off in school (as I’m sure everyone of these students have) and they really deserve this scholarship. It is so exciting, but yet nerve wrecking to WAIT. The funny thing is my daughter is so calm and cool about this - I just don’t understand that. I’m on CC everyday all day and night! I have become absolutely obsessed with this. That’s why I knew I had to join CC because I don’t have anyone else to share all this anxiety with. I call the automated number every single day - sometimes 3 times a day. This is crazy! So now that I got that out, I can go back to work for about an hour until I check CC again and possibly call the automated number to hear the same recording AGAIN! :)</p>
<p>My daughter and I are scheduled to go visit her college for admitted student day on April 16th but I really do not want to go because I don’t want to leave the house out of fear we’ll miss the mailman! My anxiety has gone to a whole new level. 
I took off work for a few days around April 15 so that I can be home to get the mail. This is insane! :)</p>

<p>You all are so encouraging. I’m a finalist as well, and I’m very nervous. I’ve been praying and remaining optimistic about this though. I really hope it comes through for all of us</p>
<p>Sit tight guys, I called and they said they will be notifying most likely by both email and mail. They will mail out packages next Friday (15th) and send out emails. I dont think they ever sent out emails in the past!</p>

<p>As a mom - and I mean this from my heart - you are amazing! What you have each done for YOURSELVES to get this far in the process is remarkable and admirable.</p>
<p>Bask in this anxiety and anticipation! I hope that each of your parents is as proud of you as I am of my daughter. Win or Lose she has created an amazing person who is bound to make a big impact out there in the world. And each of you have that path ahead as well.</p>

<p>Man, I am sooo nervous .The wait is killing me. It really makes me feel good that every time I come on here someone is always giving words of encouragement. Even if I don’t get this scholarship (which I pray every night that I do) I will know that there are kind, loving and decent people in this world. I really appreciate every kind word that everyone has said. And I love that we can all come together and help one another! Good luck and I’m praying for all of you!!!</p>
<p>Did I hear someone say notifications will be by e-mail?? Oh God I hope you’re right! Eecardell you are so encouraging to everyone on CC thank you! I guess I will call GMS office tomorrow for the 4th time this week! I am wearing myself out from all this stress! I will be so glad when it’s over!</p>

<p>Ok so I just found out today by looking at these posts that we find out NEXT FRIDAY!..But anyways this scholarship will determine if I go to my dream school, or a school I can settle with. I REALLLLLLY hope I get this.</p>
<p>Just called the GMS office and they said they will not be notifying finalist by email if they are scholars. All notifications will go out by mail and it could take up to the end of the month for notifications. DARN!!!</p>
<p>To everyoe sorry for late reply I called the regular GMS office, emails will be sent to EVERYONE and they said around the same time the finalsit emails came out so I guess morning? And yes I was shocked! This is nerve wrecking!</p>
<p>Emoryguy: I just called the GMS office and the person that answered the phone told me letters would go out notifying finalist if they made it as scholars. Now I’m a little confused. I wonder if someone else should call and see what response they get. I’m afraid to call again because if they have caller ID and see how many times I’m calling they may stop answering the phone! </p>
<p>Can someone else call the GMS office and ask the question of whether we will recieve emails or not? And let us all know. That would be such a relief for us all if they would just send emails out on April 15th.</p>

<p>Called again- emails will be sent on the 15th as they were on March. If not he said expect a package on either saturday, monday, or tuesday depending on location… this is it… And thats odd they told you no email. I guess one of them isnt on the same page.</p>
