The webpage was taking so long to load. I did not recieve a finalist email, does this mean I am not a finalist?
I received an email today notifying me of my nominee’s status as the nominator. It was somewhat off, as the name of the student I nominated wasn’t the name and the email was also addressed to someone else, but I heard already from my student that he is a finalist. He is a Hispanic from NJ.

I’m not mad that I lost because I wished I could have gotten more help on the essays. It could also be that my rec and nom essay were not good.

I am a Hispanic finalist from Carson, California! I am so grateful for this opportunity. Does anyone know exactly how they select official recipients? They are asking for various documents; such as, an official transcript, my student aid report, and an acceptance letter. My guess is it depends on your transcripts and financial need. Anyone have a better idea?
