<p>Don't know about you guys, but for me, 2008 March-April is turning out to be the BIGGEST moment of my life so far...it could literally make or break my life.</p>

Just wondering earlier in the thread it said about 60 thousand applied this year would they give out more than a thousand scholarships due to the number of applicants applying? or is it still a thousand???</p>

<p>hi again! haha, i should have read the other stuff before, i guess no one has been contacted yet. um, so it says that last year it they were notified till the fifteenth! ahh!! i also applied for this thing called the terry scholarship, which is given in texas. does anyone else know about this? or when the people will be told if they made it or not? i can't find anything online. well then, bye.</p>
<p>i think that they might give it 2 over 1,000 scholars because if u read d 2006/07 gates millenium annual report on the website it says that from 1999-2006 gates has funded over 11,000 scholars:)</p>
<p>2006: All semi-finalists were first notified March 10th via email
2007: Semi-finalists were first notified starting March 12th via email (Notification time - 3:02 PM WST) and/or mail through March 15th; the earliest a finalist was notified was 3/17</p>
