My first post..cut me a break. My son started Fordham on Thursday. It seems to me, while walking around campus the last 3 times we have been there, that there are more gay male students at Fordham than we have seen elsewhere. Is there in fact a high population of gay males at Fordham, or am I just homophobic? This is not a judgment or a problem, but it strikes me as curious.
Thanks

I go to Fordham Rose Hill. Can't speak for other campuses but I know that a few of the people I've met here joke about the fact that it seems like 80% of the males are gay. Of course that's largely exaggerated. Either way, most of the campus isn't even here yet. So what you saw may have been distorted.

You're a parent and your username is Hmaxim?

Judge much, lumine?

What's wrong with "Hmaxim" ? I guess I'm out of touch or something.

With all due respect ma'am, that just means more poontang for your son.

Since when is asking a question judging? Ever heard of freedom of speech?
It just reminded me of Maxim magazine and I thought the juxtaposition between that and your question was interesting. Not necessarily meaningful in anyway, just interesting.

I'll have to check it out...but there is no relationship between the magazine and my username..at least not intentionally. I use this name all over the net and never had it raise an eyebrow before.

How would you know someone is gay unless you talked to them? Maybe you're completely off base assuming all those students are gay.

It does not take a lot of talent to "know". Sure, it's an assumption. But something like that is fairly obvious to most people, unless you have been living under a rock all your life.
Anyway, it's not a big deal. I just thought it was a bit out of proportion, but I now believe I am mistaken.
