The usual, very driven, good leadership qualities,

I got into Northeastern but due to financial reasons, I couldn't attend.

looking at top tier schools....

looking at
NYU

HELP! (Seriously)

isn’t NYU more expensive than Northeastern? plus there’s little financial aid. when there is financial aid, you still have to take out loans.

Mathy has a point. If you can’t afford Northeastern it will be even harder to afford NYU. Perhaps if you are a NY or NYC resident and going through HEOP. Otherwise …

I have scholarships and stuff to pay for the potential difference. But price tag aside, I wanna know my chances.

Sure then when you get accepted you will decline again for financial reasons. What’s the point?

How about we don’t tear me down financially, thanks. I can pay for an NYU education.

But you said yourself:

“I got into Northeastern but due to financial reasons, I couldn’t attend.”

To which we replied:

“If you can’t afford Northeastern; you won’t be able to afford NYU”

Hey Omar:

On 2-14-2009 you posted:

maybe he took the SAT again…
to OP, It depends on which school you apply to.
you have no shot at stern and its a very high reach for CAS.

I would apply to the CAS for History or Journalism, I am still torn. :)

just apply and see what happens. transfers do get financial aid but I warn you there are loans. it’s better to have a state school and a safety private school (due to the recession, more people are going to state and city schools like SUNY and CUNY respectively) for backup after community college.

You can’t major in journalism alone. Journalism majors are required to have a second major as well.
