Gen Chem vs Extended Chem Rutgers

Hi Everyone!
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with either the regular chem classes or extended chem classes at Rutgers? I’m trying to decide which one I should take. So far I’ve been doing well in all my classes (I’m a first year), but I don’t have a very strong background in chem. I was just wondering if anyone thinks the extra time spent in extended chem is worth it? I’ve just heard very bad things about the chemistry classes at Rutgers, so I wanted to know if the extended chem makes it any better.
If I don’t take the extended version, I could possibly have no classes on fridays, which would be nice so I could work more often or have a whole extra day to study. But if the extended version really helps, I’d rather spend the extra time to take that and end up with a better grade. If it makes any difference, I’m an animal science major on the pre vet track, and I’d be taking bio lab, animal repro, animal genetics, and calculus I in addition to chem.
Any input would be appreciated! Thanks!
