Should I take Gen.Chemistry or Introduction to Chem?

Hi, so I’m a sophomore and will be taking a
Chemistry class this term. I’m majoring in computer science so I have to take 3 science classes in a sequence. I have the option of taking Chem 111 which is an easier class that does help with pre-reqs but the only bad thing is that I would have to take a sequence of biology after that class. If I want to continue with the chemistry sequence I would have to take Gen Chem to go onto the next class. The reason I’m asking this is because I took biology in high school 4 years ago. It was in regular chemistry and I got a B in that class. I have the math requirements but also worry on how much math we have to use I’m finishing up with pre-calc this term. My schedule is busy but not too challenging. Im taking intro to Japanese, writing 121 (second year writing required for graduation), basically a trigonometry class, and gen chemistry. What would you guys suggest?

Did u preview the materials for the Gen. chem? do u find them challenging? if not then go for it and get rid of bio.
日本語を勉強する?良いですね。頑張る!

My son started with General Chemistry (wants to major in computer science). He’s a dual enrollment student but so far so good. I would not want to take biology again unless it was required.

I have Gen Chem right now with no prior chemistry experience. I’m taking concurrently with AP Calc and the math is no issue. The concepts, however, are thought provoking and fairly challenging. I skipped intro and think it’s worth it - you’ll get much more out of the general class and it’ll look more impressive on your transcript.
