Gender & Diversity

<p>I'm still trying to decide what degree I want and I couldn't quite figure this out, so I thought I'd ask here.</p>

<p>I've been looking at the list of offered degress at the University of West Florida and this confused me a bit.(Note: here's a link to what I'm talkign aobut in case you're curious <a href="http://uwf.edu/catalog/deg.htm#1%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://uwf.edu/catalog/deg.htm#1&lt;/a&gt;)&lt;/p>

<p>The webpage says 'Degree programs, specializations, and minors at UWF include...'</p>

<p>Well how am I supposed to tell the difference between a degree, specialization, and minor in the list?</p>

<p>Also, the Gender & Diversity section listed under History B.A. seemed intruiging. Is that a degree? A specialization? If I were to choose that, what kind of jobs could I get with that?</p>

<p>Any information anyone can provide would eb most appreciated!</p>

<p>Degree is what you get on graduation, Bachelor's (the regular 4 year degree) Master's, PhD</p>

<p>Specialization appears to be what most places call "major" (e.g. Archaeology)</p>

<p>The minors are listed at the far bottom of the page.</p>
