General Printing and Computer Questions

I tried to search the forum but didn't find anything that was directly helpful...I have a few classes that require reading large PDF documents and discussing them weekly. Is there somewhere on campus where you can print out large documents cheaply and quickly? I'd hate to pay to print out 200 pages a week, but I doubt with the current economic situation there is a free printer hidden in a corner somewhere, but I figured I'd ask. Or should I just try to take digital notes? Any helpful hints for dealing with this?

Also where in the science center is the computer lab?

This site should have the information you’re looking for.

More specifically about printing and computer labs:

More specifically about printing costs:
[How do I pay for printing? | FAS Information Technology](http://www.fas-it.fas.harvard.edu/node/707)
It’s 5 cents for b/w and 15 cents for color per page.

Thanks, I missed some orientations, hence my general confusion. This was incredibly helpful.

With all these costs, you might be better off buying a cheap printer. You can get a decent one for just a little more than $100.

Just go into the Science Center from the main entrance and go downstairs and the comp lab is directly to your left.

You can print pages for like 3 cents, by just going to the desk on the right and asking them to add cash on your account.

It is fairly cheap.

@ just

LOL! Is that legit? I might have suggest that to my sister…from what I remember, she said printing was 5 cents for a one sided piece of paper and 3 cents for a double sided piece of paper (black and white)… I’d assume Harvard is trying to be all “green” and encouraging double sided printing.

Effective? Yes. Legit? No.

I am pretty sure it was 3 cents a side for double sided paper, so it was like 6 cents per piece of paper.

I only ever printed up tickets to Red Sox games there which were only the one side, though.
