<p>is it wise to select a new professor over a professor that has a history of being difficult? right now most of my desired professors are...full :( i can't start till 2:40pm it's killing me!</p>
<p>It all depends on the professor. I had one new professor who was a horrible lecturer, but his class was the easiest of the three professors teaching that class. Its kind of a gamble, but if they're not that great, you can be rid of them in 10 weeks :)</p>
<p>PS. Difficult professors aren't as bad as you might think. One of the hardest classes I've taken so far was also one of the most interesting, and I learned a ton :)</p>
