The people who got accepted to Princeton and posted their stats are among the top of the people admitted right? Surely there are numerous people admitted with lower stats and weaker ec's right?

There is no reason to assume that those who posted their results in the RD thread are not representative of the overall body of accepted students.

I agree with Weasel, but that said: sure, there are "less impressive" applicants than those who post here who end up getting admitted, but there are also "more impressive" admitees, as well.

If all you do is compare yourself to other applicants on CC, you will cause yourself unecessary anxiety. CC is a great resource, but please don't take it TOO seriously.

I'd say that they are above average admits as a group. Because (at least numbers wise) students on CC tend to be above average. But that still doesn't mean that your chances will be fine either way. Look at the people from CC that were willing to admit that they were rejected, and see what sets them apart.

CCers are definitely above average when compared to the national applicant pool; however, I don't think they are necessarily above average in Princeton's pool.

I still think they are a little above or even a lot above because in the Rd thread a majority of people had 2300+ SAT's when Princeton's average is 2205.
