General Questions! Please feel free to post anything

I am transferring from my university school to Rutgers due to several reasons.
I feel like going to Rutgers is good choice, but it is going to be a big adjustment since I have to commute and etc.

1) What is the G.P.A. range at Rutgers? (like 3.7 is A- and etc)

2) Which library do you guys prefer? I study a lot and I need to study in quite place where I can concentrate on my own things

I have looked at the webstie, but none of the libraries have 24 hours opening??

3) How do you guys like the food at cafeteria?

4)How do you like the professors in general?

5) Is there any suggestion to make Rutgers more comfortable?

6) I heard that most of the professors are horrible, how are the professors?

7)Let me know if anyone is already majoring Nursing at Rutgers.

(1) A= 4.0 (100-90) B+= 3.5 B=3.0 etc. (I believe that’s the breakdown. I’m only 100% sure about “A”. So if you get 90s (A minus doesn’t exist) in all of your classes, you can still have a 4.0 GPA!)

(2) I’ve only studied at Alexander Library on College Avenue. It’s nice. There are also spots at the student centers that are great atmospheres for studying. The Red Lion Cafe @ the College Avenue Student Center is a great place to study (in my opinion) =)

(3) Cafeteria food –> seems like the best during 1st semester, but by 2nd you might get sick of it. The best dining halls (as stated by people I’ve talked to) are Busch and Neilsen on Douglass

(4) Professors – you meet some nice ones, some boring ones, some hard-graders. I haven’t had an easy nor “hard” professor yet. But I like all of the professors I had as a first-year this year. In general, there are some who really know there stuff and are respectable, but I’m sure you can come across some who are . . . crap =</p>

(5) Make Rutgers comfortable? Hmm. Get involved! Make friends! Go to class, do your work, and study! Check out on-campus happenings. Bring a comforter for your bed in your dorms because they can feel pretty “springy” after you’ve slept on it all semester. Get along with your roommate. Explore! and don’t be afraid to try new things (yay for cliches!)

(6) The ones I have encountered weren’t horrible. Reasons one may say their professor sucked: he/she was boring, hard to understand because of their foreign accent, perhaps the teacher was pretentious and treated the students as if they are below him/her, suck at teaching.

(7) Sorry, I’m an English major so I can’t answer this. Hey! Check Facebook. I think there is a group for incoming Nursing students. Meet new friends =)
