I am currently a sophomore student at a community college in Pennsylvania (Liberal Arts major) and was hoping to transfer to Fordham RH next year as a general science major. I was just wondering if it is possible to complete the general science requirements in 2 years? Just trying to find out as much as I can as Fordham isn’t exactly cheap and I need to know what I’m getting into. My intentions with the general science major are to fulfill “pre-dental” requirements and apply to dental schools my senior year. Additional info- I have only taken one contemporary bio college course because most dental schools want you to take science courses at a university. Will this hurt my chances of getting into the general science major because it basically looks like I have no science interest/experience (on paper).
Thanks so much for reading and your help!
Ask admissions about what credits transfer and how they do that.
Also be aware that Fordham has a huge core curriculum which must be completed before you graduate. You should be able to find the core online so you can get an idea where you’d stand with it.
