generally the last date

Generally, when is the last date to take SAT's/SAT II's so that scores will be ready for regular decision applicants?

december.

january MIGHT be acceptable if it gets there by the time your application is reviewed, but a lot of the admissions people i have talked to have said that they will not wait for scores to review it - so if the january scores don't get there in time then they will not consider them.

Stephennn, even if they have written in their statements that they accept January scores?

no, if the school says they accept january scores, then they will wait for the scores.

a lot of schools (all of the schools i applied to) will say their last test day accepted is december, and they will consider january if the scores get there in time.

take cornell for instance, they consider the january scores. (at least i think they do) so they will wait for the scores to come in. however, NYU will not wait for january scores to review your application.
