George Mason Regular Decision Letters

Hey Guys!
did anyone who applied during regular decision already receive their admissions letter? Some of
my friends have received theirs and they applied during the same time as me, so I am kinda freaking out....

Nothing here yet. All the documents and application were in by January 5th. Let me know when your friends had their stuff in. Good Luck

yeah i submitted my stuff like around Dec 31st. I got an email from them saying that they received all my stuff. My friend submitted her app around the same time as you, but got her decision letter on the second of Feb. However, she applied to Mason’s Honor college during Jan 2nd after the Nov 1st deadline. So my guess is that maybe that’s why she received her letter earlier because the admin ppl need to admit her to normal college and notify her of that before notifying her about the honors college. Btw, may I know what your statistics are?

3.59 Unweighted (A=93-100, A- = 90-92, B+ = 87-89, B = 83-86, B- = 80-82, so forth…

Applied for Biology.

oh ok nice you have good stats…i have a 3.6 gpa dn 1100 sat out of 1600…i also have an family alumini so idk if that will help me out alot or not…i have tons of ECs…so i think i will get in…so u didn’t get any letter or anything yet either? i hope i get it soon…

Have received nothing. Do they send via mail or e-mail. I have checked the app status page but it simply says everything is received. I guess we just wait. Also waiting on VT, JMU, CNU…received acceptance to ODU with scholarship $ awarded.

yeah GMU only sends via USPS mail…and JMU and VT tell decisions online…and congrats on your scholarship money!!! btw, may I know what your last name starts with? I have a feeling gmu is sening tru last names…sounds stupid but you never know…

one thing you might want to check out is try typing in your last name and gnumber into this enrollment deposit link >>> https://deposit.gmu.edu:8444/deposit/</a> gmu officials told me that it lets everyone log in…but it doesn’t let you go past a certain point to make your payment unless you have been admitted…so you can see if it allows you to go past a certain pont…btw, did you apply to gmu’s honors college?

My last name is in the back half of the alpha…and it does not let me log-in/make a payment. I did not apply for the honors program. It is really early for non-honor notifications though, so I am trying to not stress.

hmm thats weird…cuz they told me that all applicants can access and log into that page…were they lying lol?

@bboop42: are u instate or out of state? if ur in VA, which area are u from?

In state - Hampton Roads/ Va Beach area

you may want to try this other link as well: see if this housing link lets u log in, it worked for me!
https://myhousing.gmu.edu/eLiving/apply.asp</a><br>
the username is ur gnumber
and the password is ur birthday in the format MMDDYYYY

No luck. Guess that may mean bad news, but who knows. Thanks for info though.

no i don’t think it means bad news your gpa is good and your ACT is a very good score as well! i don’t see why they would not accept you lol. but they told me that basically any applicant can log on to the enrollment deposit website and the housing one one too as well, but you are not able to log in…this is really weird…do you have a possible guess???

No idea. I used the G# from the application page that shows all items have been received. That is the correct one, right? Other than that, who knows. Maybe I will call to ask tomorrow.

yup! that is the correct one. if you do call them and ask, let me know what they say! thanks!

I contacted gmu’s dean of admissions recently and she told me that the next batch of mails are gonna be sent out in mid-march, which is in a few more weeks! So I guess we are in the next batch. Hopefully! Btw, were you able to call them and ask?

Mid March is a month away. Nope, not yet.
