George Mason Transfer Hopeful

So I'm really in love with GMU! Here are my stats and such for transfer. I wonder if anyone can tell me my chances or anything I can do to help get in, or if its a hopeless cause. I know the school accepts a lot of transfers... (I'm applying for fall 2012).

STATS

African American
2.1 GPA (Its a combined GPA of two schools, a 1.0 from another and a 3.2 from another, with the 3.2 being the most recent school)

Steadily increasing GPA trends

Taking 12 credits this upcoming semester)

Currently working 40 hours a week at an environmental organization that had competitive entry (21 slots of of 500); boss is writing me a recon)

2 glowing recons from this semesters classes.

Won a 1250 dollar grant for my project that helps at risk delinquents learn a new environmental trade. I teach them and they have actual hands on experience that they do themselves.

Did Dual enrollment in high school, so if you take into consideration those 48 credits (I took 12 a semester for 4 semesters) I have a 2.6

3.5 GPA in HS

Top 10 percent of my class (a college prep school)

President of multiple organizations at school (Including yearbook editor, SGA president, Play director, soccer captain)

28 ACT

I know my grades are gonna hurt me, but do you know anything else I can do? I talked to GMU and they said send in mid semester reports and I intend for those all to be As

Get your GPA up as high as you can, probably close to a 3.0. Regardless, I plan on transferring out for Fall 2012 so you can take my spot. You’ll probably get in with all of your EC’s.
